I had an idea a couple of years ago. The two biggest problems we have in America are 1)Obesity and, 2)Energy.

Why not encourage exercise bikes in corporate America with 30 minutes per day for a fitness break. Hook generators up to all the fitness centers.

It is a similar type of solution but the tricky "play" word bugs me too.

My kid started learning flute last week and is having a great deal of fun with it at home. She is going to be in beginning band at school. I worry that the program at school will take the fun out of the word 'play'.

I taught myself to play flute many years ago and still love it. I've never had formal lessons, so I may have unrealistic concerns about it. I'm glad she wants to be in the program so I'll be interested to see what happens.
