re: Still even if Bush regulations are less expensive than Clinton's Bush really hasn't been a model of restraint on the regulatory side. He's done better here than in terms of spending but that is a minuscule hurdle to jump over.

Clinton restrained spending... Bush has enacted a whole new entitlement, as well as vastly increasing military spending (and the Iraq war spending outside the defense budget). I could spend a bunch of time listing his top ten... but I don't want to get any more depressed.

There is no comparison... Bush is a drunken sailor and Clinton was a spendthrift. Remember Cheney and "deficits don't matter". Well, they do... they have to be paid back with your beloved taxes. Taxes will go up... thank Bush.

Tim Fowler, I'm calling you out as a polluter pimp liar. Clinton's regulations are not "expensive", they were there to protect the country, our health, safety, environment and future. Bush's atrocious lie that the Kyoto Treaty would destroy our economy and that cuting pollution costs jobs has been totally disproven by the major US cities who have signed onto Kyoto themselves. They find major benefits, especially in the form of massive energy savings.

As usual, you're pimping for Exxon and the big energy thieves. They don't want us to save energy, conserve or protect our environment. That just want to poison us and keep gouging us. And you're an accomplice. An appeaser. A defender of gross criminality and immorality.

PS: CLinton balanced the books and created surpluses plus 22 million new jobs. Bush has done the opposite. Biggest deficits in history.
