LIES! 9-11 happened on Bush's watch after he went AWOL on terrorism and ignored the warnings. Clinton tried to kill OBL 150 times. Those are FACTS. Bush not only didn't try to kill OBL, he disbanded Clinton's entire counter-terror operation and didn't replace it. Plus he coddled all the Saudis in the US including the 9-11 hijackers and didn't even mention the word terrorism until after it was too late. Almost as if Bush had a deal with the Saudis to protect their people in the US, including the terrorists and Osama as well, whose family is an old friend of the Bush family btw, which invested money in the Bush family. What do you think of that? There is no evidence whatsoever that Clinton ever "let Osama go" like Bush did at Tora Bora. Or "was offered Osama". That is total BS put out by the rightwing to cover up for Bush's failures prior to 9-11, and afterward. In fact Richard Clarke calls the ABC docu-drama "nonsense" and complete fabrications. Clarke is non-partisan and was the counter-terror czar for four presidents. He is the ultimate authority on this and he plainly says Bush was the one who went AWOL on terrorism, not Clinton. Because under CLinton Clarke was allowed to work 24-7 to stop Al Qaida and partly succeeded. Bush fired Clarke and disbanded his entire operation.
