I've been to the Pappadeaux in Houston...........and the one on the Gulfside in Kemah........great restaurants for a chain. the one in San Antonio is also good. I took my co-workers to the one by the SA airport and they loved it. At first they weren't happy about it being a chain but they requested we go back a second time for lunch!

Tom's Ribs sounds familiar.................remember where it's located or an approximate location?

We went to Gruene last trip but in Nov maybe we'll get to New Braunfels. One of the team member is from Bavaria and probably would love the German food.

Thanks for the food tips.

Iowa is a conservative region so I would guess they don't experiment with anything too much.

I make a cranberry, apple and pear relish every year that would be nice on the pork. Also, some of the Robert Rothchild's Farm sauces would be nice with it.
