Well, let's put it this way. There is a case of moderate sleep apnia belonging to him who shall remain nameless. For years I have been awakened with snooooooorrrrrrrtttttttt as he breathes again. All I would have to do is touch him and say turn on your side and he'd be fine. But along with this nice quiet time I'd kinda wonder if he had died... and that isn't fun... so we find out what it is and now he is experimenting with different sleep apnia masks. That's doing pretty well, but we still haven't mastered the 'keep lips closed' when asleep. The air which is dispensed through an ultra quiet machine also runs through the lips when the mouth opens the very least bit. He doesn't snore. His lips though go sputttttterrrrrrrrrwhinny like a horse... so add to my list..

No snoring and no sputttttterrrrrrrrrwhinnying!! ROFLOL...

Actually I am Very Thankful that at the worst it is considered 'moderate' and mostly 'mild' sleep apnia. When we first started working with the masks one night I just got up and went into the other room... there was no sleep for the wicked that night... and I must have been the wicked one ;)

The night he got one to work without leaking I found that not only did he have a Great Night, but that I had a Great Night... I never realized how much I was awakened over years of what I thought was just one or two snorts a night...

Some sleep apnia patients have moving legs and body which would have been even worse... husband goes to sleep before his head touches the pillow ;) and barely moves at all during the evening... no wonder I finally started checking him to see if he was still in the 'talented breathing' mode :)

I'll bet this is more than anyone wanted to know... so add this... none of the dogs run in terror at the wearing of the 'space mask'.... hehehehehehehe

ahhhhhhh isn't that sweet... it's because we all love him :)

Life is an adventure... :)
