You would care if you were female. I understand Mormons eliminated polygamy a century ago, as a requirement for statehood. It would have been wise to forbid the polygamous off shoots as well. Brainwashing children from birth to live such a twisted lifestyle should not be an option in the US.

I have similar experiences with Mormons I've met. They have fine moral standards, on the whole.
