Or when he told Seattle police to stand down while Anti-Globalists rioted and looted downtown during the WTO in '99. How they stood there and watched it all helpless to help the helpless. Leading to the resignation of Stamper.

Criminal behaviour has been tolerated in Seattle for years, encouraging crime and chaos.

Tolerated!

Funny -not- how that word means one thing to liberals and another entirely to hard working, tax paying, law abiding citizens who depend on the police to ensure that they and their property remain safe.

It is incredible. Noone in power in Seattle, and in many of the cities, will even mention gangs, or the massive troubles they are causing....not PC don't you know. Many of them came up here to Seattle from CA ~~Remember the Bloods and the Crips, I think it was...

Some of them may still be coming from CA, but now via Mexico or even Central America to Mexico and up from AZ or CA to the NW, or even to various areas in the country.

Friend of mine lives in Houston, and said that crime is way up since after Katrina. No one wants to talk about that either.

And yet.....why not???
