I have forgotten what statements were controversial. Would you mind posting those and the evidence that they were 1) False, and 2) Proof that he intended to use them to deceive others.

Keeping in mind that I don't consider merely conveying information that turns out to be wrong, proof of a lie. There are many other more precise descriptors that may be applicable.
