Clinton, once he knew Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaida were behind the embassy attacks, hurled 150 cruise missiles at them and created a anti Al Qaida operation inside the WH working 24/7, which Bush completely disbanded and did not replace. Except for a bit of bad luck, Osama and Company could have been killed in any one of those missile attacks.

The USS Cole bombing was confirmed to be AL Qaida's in February 2001. Not before. Bush was in charge then. He did absolutely nothing about it. He had no one in charge of counter-terrorism. Rice and Cheney wouldn't even take meetings on it. Bush himself paid no attention whatsoever despite many warnings until Sept. 4, 2001. Even then he did not heed the 8-6-01 warning. He did nothing about it. Then BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! And who the Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney want to blame? Saddam Hussein. Not Osama Bin LAden.

Read Richard Clarke's book. He confirms that Clinton to was too preoccupied and failed to do his job.

James Woolsey, former CIA Director, is a guest on O'Reilly. He stated that he rarely met with Pres Bill Clinton when he was Director. O'Reilly asked why? Woolsey said he didn't know but assumes Clinton was focusing more on Bosnia and other things. Woolsey is a not a rabid partisan, so he was not trying to slam Clinton. He merely stated the fact that Pres Clinton met very rarely with his CIA Director. We now know that was a foolish mistake.
