Why? Do you think "a LOT of Iraqis will live" (slightly longer) if we stayed? It seems "a LOT of Iraqis" are living (briefly) while we are there.

Btw, I also think "a LOT of" Americans will live (much longer) if we leave.

The democratically elected government of Iraq has asked us to stay for a while and help stabilize the country.

I recently heard that the Kurds were estimating two years. Not sure whether that's just Real Politik as Bush's term in office is only another two years.

Personally, I wouldn't think of leaving as long as Saddam is still alive. He's still the same old Sodom Insane, and he's still got a lot of support from the people who had it good when the Ba'athists were on top.

When he's dead, that faction will start fighting amongst themselves.
