Hawk, while I don't know Chinese, our son knows Japanese [very well] and can get by a bit in Mandarin though the others don't. That wouldn't help.. If the US adopted a truly indifferent position towards the wars in other regions, China could nuke Japan at will RIGHT NOW and Japan would cease to exist as a nation/economy. Same thing with every other country who were no longer covered under our nuclear umbrella. release Saddam, apologize to him for enforcing the WMDs resolutions and finding he was being truthful when he said he didn't have any, thereby disrupting his presidency, provide him an armoured car and put him back in one of his palaces.
