John, you'd think so, <i expect a settlement. lawyers must have a fairly good feeling how this will turn out if they do not compromise >. But my experience of "professionals" is that they are as prone to arrogance as other people, and more so, because they spent their early years learning that they were superior to other people, and were probably encouraged in that fantasy. They then go on to assume that they are better than everyone [including others as capable as they are] and make really stupid decisions based on arrogance more than thinking. Maybe Mr Dull is one of those people. Nicholas III seems wound up pretty tightly, got the PhD etc. Mqurice
