Not nuclear dummy. It wasn't invented as yet. It was the Atomic Bomb that was dropped on Japan because they refused to surrender. It saved many thousands of American soldiers lives. You silly person--when the Islamic barbarians take prisoners they spit on the Geneva Conventions, most likely they never heard of them. You can't win a war against ruthless lunatics with Mother Teresa tactics. Americans don't torture...they use their intelligence and American ingenuity to find other ways to force the wacko jihadists to divulge valuable information. Don't forget, the average jihadist is a gullible fool--not an educated, rational human being. Nudity, noise, humiliation, sleep deprivation, "pretending" to let an angry dog loose, etc are not inhumane methods of interrogation and can produce results which save, to put it simply, the good guys lives. You evaded the question--why do you place more value on the uncivilized Islamic jihadists lives than on American soldiers lives?
