This is one of my pet grieves... Those preferences that are bestowed on people of political stature or in the cast of the court system, those who can afford good lawyers.

One only has to look at the Simpson case to illustrate the lawyer thing.

If one looks into the number of women in prison who were represented by a court appointed lawyer and then look at their crime, killing their husbands who abused them for years and then read their sentences..... life in prison...

Foley escaped any accusations or disciplinary measures because he was Foley.

Neither has a valid defense for what he did, and both deserve to be ridden out of town on a rail. Clinton has a bevy of apologists. Foley doesn't.

We don't know all the facts about what fellow members of congress did or did not do. They should have shunned Foley and all of their members who do likewise.

I seriously doubt that Republicans have a monopoly on this affliction or crime, whatever you want to call it.

Those who use this incident as political leverage are going to find out it's a sword that cuts both ways.

I suggest you read this thread's header. This is your warning. AS is gone. I DO mean to enforce that rule. Period.
