To me a cruise is too planned and far too "touristy". We prefer to land in country and navigate it by ourselves – it’s a far more “real” experience.

Last March we spent 4 weeks in Vietnam and it was quite an adventure and a heck of a lot of fun. It truly is a beautiful and fascinating country. 20 years from now will be over run with tourists similar to the way Thailand is now so I encourage people to go now before it is ruined.
