According to the testing done by UL, the floor assemlies were tested for fire. They were subjected to longer hoter fires than the NIST report states occurred in the WTC towers, but they didn't sag or fail. Apparently that type of floor is very very good in a fire.

Also one of the floors of the WTC caught fire about 20 years ago. The fire gutted a floor and burned hotter and longer than 9-11 according to reports (not counting any thermate and molten steel flowing out of course ;^)> Building did not collapse then.
