If the cortizone is the "atom bomb" option, then surgery to fix the whole mess is really the "N Bomb" option. I didn't have a choice...that was the only option because I thought I was just being brave....

So just do what they are recommending for you...and it should help. If it continues to hurt, and if you get so that you can't move your arm away from the seam in your slacks outward, or upward like you are pointing at something, and for sure if you can't easily pull it up from your side to the pointing and then to over your head reaching....you MUST see about it....

I've had the series of three Cortisone shots in the spinal column four times and it didn't do much good...
