Which makes me all the more suspicious about the page himself. At best, Foley was already flirting with a page, and the page being uncomfortable with the advances just wanted to capture some proof. At worst, Foley was set-up.

Although the responsibility falls squarely on Foley's shoulders, I'm not going to accept any of this sanctimony coming from the Democrats who are asking, "Were the Republicans guilty of covering up a pedophile?" Because IMO, the Democrats knew about the existence of these IM logs a long time ago. Just like Republicans probably knew about Foley's pedophilia for a while now, the Democrats probably knew about it as well. If they were truly concerned about protecting children from pedophiles, they would have come forth with the IM logs ASAP.
