It looks like the Republican plan is to round up people like Fordham, who is gay, and pretend that the gays were hiding Foley's activities from the leadership. It might work, but it depends on the scapegoats keeping quiet. That doesn't appear to be the case. It looks like Fordham is ready to sing. And he might be the source of the rumors that there are more stories of flipping pages in the works. Fordham would be in a position to know about a lot of them. Male and female. An obvious solution for the Republicans will be to shut the page program down. But they won't be able to contain the damage that this will cause... They might have to cancel the election.
