The consenting page was 17 at the time, and appeared with the openly gay Studds at the press conference 10 years later at the age of 27 to stand with him. Studds didn't resign, because he didn't feel any shame. He went on to be re-elected several times.

Closet Queen Foley's (who would never have been elected if his Repugnican voters knew he was gay) page didn't WANT the attention, and complained to his parents and his congressman. Foley DID resign, because he's been decieving his contituients about his sexual orientation, and chasing pages that didn't want the attention.

Do you see ANY difference?

All this "outrage" by the Dems is only a political game. GOP sets higher rules of standard for themselves, and Foley that unlike Democrat voters with whom intercourse with a minor page is ok, Republican voters will not tolerate even explicit e-mail with a minor.

Yes, big joe, you're right. Republicans are the chosen people. There is nothing to worry about.......everyone's over reacting. Go back to your discussions about silica over on the AMD thread.
