"No one is criticizing Foley for being in the closet. That's his business. " I don't think his Repugnican voters will agree with you. I'm sure they feel decieved and betrayed, and more than a little bit stupid. Repugnicans don't ELECT out gays, or any gays, KNOWINGLY. I think the anger will be directed not only at Foley, but all those who are coming out now and saying, "oh, we all KNEW he was gay, but..". The people who voted for Foley will be asking WHY these people enabled Foley's deception about his sexuality. A lot of them are the bible-thumping Christian "value voters" who believe being gay is a sin and a crime, and would NEVER have voted for Foley had they known that fact.
