I’m fairly certain that you’ve lost me, but maybe you’ll help me better understand your point. Are “hssn” guys that don’t try to dominate others? Are many of the Libertarians that you know hssn? Are there only a few Democrats or Republicans that are hssn? Which of these groups have the particular DNA that is likely to be removed from the gene pool? Here is a Charlie Rose interview with E.O. Wilson and James Watson on the topic of Charles Darwin.video.google.com Watson made a comment on the sad fact that some people are born to be more brutish than others, and (implied) that this made it much more difficult for them to function in a modern society. I highly recommend this video if you have the time. A few years back, I listened to a comedian talk about how many jerks we still have in the world - given that women say they detest boorish men, and how they’re unforgiving of slights. He said that he didn’t understand how that would actually work because he saw lots of jerks with nice looking girlfriends. He also suggested that “If there was no demand for jerks, there’d be no supply.” I watched a program on human sexuality that found that women who are dating prefer more masculine men when they are ovulating, and also tend to show more skin at this time. After this, they’ll prefer “softer” looking men and dress more conservatively. There was an evolutionary, DNA-based explanation that women wanted their children to be conceived by strong males, but reared by more nurturing males. Given this, it will be much more difficult to remove the domination tendencies in the “bonobo blokes.” GPS
