My other famous ancestor sold his interest in Sears and Roebuck for $50,000. His name was Roebuck. Not too smart, huh!

From a Sears asly point of view... that's wonderful <wink>

hehehe... ancestors are fun !!! Joe and I both have interesting ones... I wonder why there are no fascinating links about us on the web..... does that say that 'we' are not interesting, not royalty, not discovers... I guess what it could say also is that we are not on the ten most wanted list for murder, alimony, child support, bigamy and whatever ;) LOL... maybe that's a Big Thank You, God!!

My grandfather bought a fig ranch in Oregon and could have bought the mountain next to it for $1,000. He didn't. Can't raise figs on a mountain, especially later when the mountain was found to have an Uranium deposit worth $50 million in 1950s and 1960s dollars.
