No one but Bush and the repugs ever characterized it as "cut and run". You lied. Most Americans realize the responsibility we now have to clean up Bush's mess.

Iraq is why Bush has earned impeachment. It has been a total disaster. Bush has done us far more harm than any enemy could simply by extremely poor judgement and deep unwavering dishonesty. Now Bushies are covering up a new NIE report that says Iraq is FUBAR, I mean a lost cause, I mean we should have gotten out of there more than a year ago, but didn't, costing us badly. The bottomline in the NIE reports is that Bush's occupation itself is what's causing a large portion of the violence, attracting in foreign fighters and giving Al Qaida and other wacko groups the best recruiting tool they ever had. In other words, Bush has driven the US military into a swamp full of snakes and mosquitos and left it there without relief. So no matter how powerful we are all we can do is slowly lose. If you remember Vietnam, this is a similar case, and Bushies have been covering upm knowledge of that for more than a year. They also lied to us about why we should invade in the first place, and lied about many other things as well.
