Thanks, that's kind of what I expected. My neighbors are all still very depressed about their economic situations. One has taken to cleaning other peoples houses all day Saturday to help make ends meet.

One home was the foreclosure I talked about recently. The owner skipped town (the country?). It was only on the market for two weeks through a realtor who claimed to be "christian" on their sign. Not sure why they felt the need to put that in their slogan. Another was an auction. Not sure how much it sold for but I know the property well and it has severely restricted potential. Can't wait to see the sales price. Suspect the buyer paid too much.

One sold through a realtor.

The only thing that is going strong here is the Oakland County Road Commission. They are building and widening roads like mad around here. Commercial building is doing ok too, but there is already office space for rent out the wazoo here (hundereds of thousands of square feet). I truly don't understand why they keep building office space when there is so much vacant, nearly new, space available. Bizarre.
