There is absolutely no reason to split hairs in defense of a totalitarian regime that oppresses its people and threatens the stability of all of Asia.

Bottom line is this: North Korea cannot be trusted. If they see any possibility of their crumbling regime surviving, they will act upon it, no matter what the side effects may be.
