All analysts agreed that the sheer variety of semiconductor products today makes the market more difficult to analyze. "These are interesting times," Johnson said. "Device manufacturers are wondering if they will get ROI on their capital; they feel pressures on their energy consumption; and there are supply issues for some materials, which could put a damper on 2007."
Quite frankly - I learned more from Gottfried's charts and various CC (in particular Hill); whether bullish or bearish I don't care though you guys have to make a living in predicting the future. I can do without it as long as there is DRAMexchange and DD. I'm not going to dig up posts from the past since you post rarely (I don't recall you being overly bullish) - from what I recall you post once every 12 months or so - and of course Taiwan foodchain is publishing sales data in real time (relative to SIA).

Taiwan-based memory-module maker A-Data Technology reached record revenues in September. Thanks to strong demand for DRAM and NAND flash products, the revenues amounted to NT$5.76 billion (US$173.8 million), up 39.7% on month and 89.7% on year. Unit shipments also hit a new record last month, the company added. A-Data expects demand for DRAM and NAND flash to remain strong in October.
DRAM modules accounted for 66% of A-Data's September revenues, according to the company, adding that 65% of the DRAM-module sales came from the DDR2 segment.
Apart from its own-brand products, A-Data has been aggressively developing its OEM business, trying to increase the number of orders from major vendors. The company expects its own-brand and OEM sales to stay high in October.
