Your presumptions are typically off base. I suspect you need that to bolster your confidence but it doesn't advance the discussion. I will point out a few as well as some flaws in your statement. 1) I have never voted for a Bush, would not vote for the current one if he were able to run for a third term, and have actively protested some Bush decisions. That likely doesn't make sense to people who live in the hate Bush, black and white world but bares repeating any way. "Bush, the guy that you so ardently worship .." 2) I am educated and like every educated person, I am aware of the benefits of managing oil resources for national and global interests. The struggle to control material wealth does indeed have a major impact on global conflict. However, there are many perspectives on world conflicts that are equally valid. When ever we see someone narrow it down to one issue, we find they probably have ulterior motives for doing that. "OIL is a quitessential material ... 3) You contradict yourself or perhaps you truly believe that living under a yoke of any kind can justifiably be termed 'peaceful coexistence'. As much as slaves live in peaceful coexistance under the fear of a whip this might be true. I have a far different standard for 'peaceful coexistence'. 4) You simply don't know what you are talking about with reference to Sunnis and Shi'ites. "Even the Sunnis and Shi-ites in Iraq lived in peaceful coexistence ..." It is true that the creation of Israel and the continued support from the West has been a major contributor to the strife. "But after Israel was created in 1948, Muslim antagonism and hatred for the west have escalated over the years to present levels." 5) However, your 'opinion' about the terrorist situation in Iraq is typically tainted by your hate for Bush. Saddam was the opposite of what could be called a 'benevolent dictator', he was a brutal mad man. As far as terrorists in Iraq goes, many of them have come from outside. There is a difference between terrorists and insurgents but over all you could look at it as a pimple coming to a head. Ugly aint it... "Before Saddam was demonized and deposed, there were hardly any terrorists in Iraq. But the number of Muslim terrorists swelled by leaps and bounds ever since the US invaded and occupied Iraq." 6) Deligitemizing claims of Muslims. Never going to happen. "However, some observers and experts have suggested that delegitimizing the claims of the Moslems is the way to go. "
