It's sometimes hard to indicate sarcasm in cyberspace..first, the accuracy their research tool(cluster) does not convince me that their estimates are accurate..I have no idea what the true numbers are and don't pretend to know..I don't believe anything that comes out of the elite leftist universities on something that cannot be double-checked(esp. the # of Iraqi deaths)..

I was particularly offended by their inserting the # killed by Saddam..the intent of Saddam's killings and the deaths of Iraqi's during this war are not on the same 'plane.'

Why don't we hear how many Kurds died under Saddam compared to this war? Why do we not here their opinions on the American invasion and presence? Is their experience not as valid as the Sunni's who hooked up with Iran's exported fighters that have been primarily responsible for the loss of life?

By no means am I justifying how we handled this war..I do not support how it was managed..but I also do not support publications like the BBC reporting such incendiary and more than likely inaccurate information..
