"Har!

I see your point but there is tremendous good as well as tremendous harm that can be traced to various forms of human endeavor. The question of whether following a religion or believing in God and eternity (which can be quite different things) has done more harm or good in the World is not one I care to debate.

My point was that believing in God is not necessarily a contradiction to believing the physical universe can be fully understood given the intellectual capacity.

That would go beyond "inaccurately attributed supernaturalness to naturalness" to proposing and implementation a specific real world response to supernatural beliefs.

Its one thing to say "God made the apples red", its another to say "none of the apples will grow unless we sacrifice a virgin", and still another to actually go ahead and make the sacrifice.
