How fitting that the peerlessly great man's life story be immortalized in a manga ;)

I'm familiar with manga, having lived in Japan for a few years. Still, I'm a little surprised that the author or publisher opted for the manga format for a serious biography. When I was living in Japan, I remember happening upon a serialized manga of Princess Diana's life story in a weekly magazine. This was shortly after her death, when she was being virtually canonized in the media. While thumbing through this manga, I came across a hardcore premarital sex scene between Diana and Prince Charles (and this was a fairly respectable magazine). It struck me as in incredibly poor taste, but it apparently didn't raise any eyebrows in Japan. I guess that experience causes me to look askance at the biographical manga genre.
