After item (5) it should read: All in all, you give no evidence to reasonably assure the public here or in Iraq that all US troops would leave that country alone if it was stable, hence my pointing out that you sounded like a true believer, i.e. a person who would close her eyes to evidence to the contrary and grab at supporting straws, no matter how weightless.

(1) There is no indication that we would have turned over our "enduring" (boy that word sounds so sweet, no?) camps to Iraqis. That's false. We've already handed over about half of the bases to Iraqi forces. washingtonpost.com It is really a simple matter for Bush to set out the conditions under which US troops (all of them) would leave Iraq. You really need to read more sources outside the echo chamber. Living inside an echo chamber is hazardous to your mental health. Do you ever actually listen to what Bush says, or read a report of what he said outside Mother Jones or Z magazine? He says, and has said, many many times, we'll leave when the Iraqi people are ready to take over their own security and they ask us to leave. You can read about it on the Department of Defense website, they practice transparency. defendamerica.mil Or maybe by "True Believer" you mean I believe what I read in the Washington Post, and not Z magazine? You betcha. Now, please stop spreading lies and rumors. It's not helping.
