That is lovely and says much of what I said. It is much harder to find real statistics or to get an analysis of the effect of closing inexpensive housing like the YMCA in order to build what are basicly upscale health clubs. If in a city of 100,000 you reduce the number of really inexpensive housing by 200 or 300 beds in the hopes of providing a different service to other people who measures that? The city of Toronto tore down the YMCA in order to build police headquarters. The new YMCA has no rooms, what effect did that have?
