I am going to assume, Mr. Blackwell's "test" purge went to no-one registered GOP. His criteria is something I am trying to get a copy of now.

You (or dailykos) should wait for some confirmation of something like that before assuming cheating.

As for the test run, it should not have sent out actual letters, but if it didn't actually purge voters from the rolls it seems more like a blunder than cheating.

After discussing the "test run" the kos post goes on to talk about actual purges. Purging the voting rolls is more a method to prevent cheating than it is a method of cheating itself. The problem is of course that its imperfect. Your likely to BOTH purge people you shouldn't have and not purge people you should have, and attempting to reduce either problem is likely to increase the other problem.

Well, good!! It's about time voter rolls were purged!

If it's true that only one party's voter rolls are being tested, that should be a criminal offence. But a true purge for valid voters, FINALLY, is a tremendous idea!

Voter (and vote counting) fraud is rampant in the US.

In my state, electronic counters are used for paper ballots. For the last four elections, one county clerk submits tentative counts and waits until the statewide results are in, then "recounts" the votes in that county, and every time, election results magically change because that "recount" provides enough votes for Demo candidates to win. I took my name off the voter rolls in protest of that cheating.
