The thing that is most frustrating to me is the number of allegations made is a lot and the number of charges brought appears to be almost nil.

In my opinion any type of last minute purge which doesn't give the voter plenty of time to respond should be illegal.

In my opinion the type of purge where they send out a letter and if that letter is returned and only the fact that the letter is returned is used as a basis for cancelling voting rights for that person should not be allowed. This type of thing was alleged to be used for military personel to disenfranchise them.

They type of purge where simple typos on an address or discrepancies based on that are used to disenfranchise people should be illegal. For example if the voter registration say 110 Main St Apt 4 and the drivers license says 110 Main St #4.

The type of purge where they try to disenfranchise someone because they have the same name as a felon should be illegal. This was used in Florida in 2000 and 2004.

There are a million ways to cheat the process and until they start throwing some people in jail all of these types of cheating will continue. Maybe it will continue anyway. But the guarding of the integrity of the voting process should be one of the highest priorities we have.
