You are not under the delusion that they work for the US middle class, are you?

But if the middle-class people were getting wiped out during a collapse, the government must be in deep trouble. I could not imagine the US government would allow this to happen, when there're lots of billionaire in this country holding essentially - cash. The argentine scenerio & other likewise are quite different in some sense that their productivities are lacking compared to the rest of the world, and they are nowhere near technically advance, hence to generate enough growth to get them out of deep hole. The world politicians can sabatoge those countries pretty easily financially. Who else dare to piss off the US middle class, except those Osama followers ? Afterall, I think you distrust the US government ... very deeply
