Then this whole "trust fund" thing is just a con job.

So then, since there isn't enough in the trust fund, the federal government might as well take it all.

again .. the word "surplus" in at the center of the con.

The trust fund is not the property of the federal government.

The way to "fix" social security is NOT to confiscate all of it's assets.

Then you are involved in the theft.

You are helping to convince the public that all of the "contributions" they made over the years are not really contributions but are taxes that they will never get back.

This massive tax was never authorized by anybody at all.
