For those few who don't have RE on ignore, this article is anything but a must-read. It is little more than a collection of low-probability scenarios laid out in hysterical fashion, the effects of which on financial matters if they actually did occur is incalculable.

Scary. Not too sure I believe any of that, but I've begun to believe that this neo-Con party that calls itself the Republicans is capable of anything to hold on to power. Escalating tensions with Iran would be just the thing to rally Republican support. Frankly, I wouldn't be much against a harsh play against Iran. But I still don't think that would swing my vote back to this Republican party.
