I picked some up. So, it is now trading at less than four times the free cash flow per year at Galore Creek with 22 years of mining -- and then you have Donlin Creek, which they may end up with 70% of, on top of that? Donlin Creek has 32.7 million ounces of gold!!! I'm surprised that no one has got into a bidding war over Novagold yet.

Orkrious: Possible NG buyers may be looking at that 10.6% after-tax IRR and saying ho-hum. I see the 40% IRR at 9/1/06 spot price, which means a lot of upside if gold stays only as strong as it is now. I see buying NG now as a bet on the POG going up meaningfully before Barrick can corral enough NG shareholders at its current offer price. Doubt I'll take that bet. Rather buy SWG.TO or small fry.
