Are you changing the subject? You said democrats were not anti-military yet their track record shows they are. You;re being "DOOPed" by their rhetoric. "Democrats out of power".

About immigrants, I don't buy the rhetoric "they're doing jobs Americans won't do". Throw the illegals out and throw in jail the people employing them.

Algore is a blow hard. Unreal you'd even consider anything he would say. He had eight years. Why do you think he is any different now? He should be locked away for taking chicom money. Getting off of oil isn't going to stop America's enemies.

How long do you wait before you do something about a nuclear NK? Iran? Isolationism of the 30s didn't work. I don't think it will work today.

Ok, let's say we get off oil. We go to something else. American companies find it cheaper to produce and ship it in from China or any other "pick your country" outsourcing. Aren't we back to the current problem? Again, I'd rather have Howard Dean president instead of algore or kerry.

Why do you think I'm scared? I've always said however bad you think the republicans are, the current crop of dem kooks are worse. Hell, they have to put out puff pieces on grandma Pelosi and hide dingy harry away from any microphones just because they know it would cost them the election.

You've said I haven't posted any solutions, only criticize. And now you're convinced I'm "scared". I've posted what I think we ought to do on many subject we discuss here. What's next you're going to project I am doing? Have you noticed how combjelly has morphed into ted's posting habits and content? You're going down that road and don't even realize it....

I've posted algore's record showing he is against building more nuclear plants and you think nuke plants are part of the solution. That doesn't jive with your support of algore being the answer to getting off of oil does it? And since algore's administration gave NK the nukes they have now, seems to be an indefensible position.

Clinton certainly cut back on the military, that's true. But let me ask you this. Why is it necessary for the US to outspend every other nation on the earth combined? I'll tell you why. Because we feel the need to be the world's policeman and we fight wars for oil.

I know you are against the war in Iraq. But the cutting back of the military issue goes beyond that war. Lets assume your right and the war was a mistake. Its not like its the only war in our history. Even if Iraq was a mistake, we should have a large enough military to perform an operation like Iraq. I suppose you could assume that things will be peaceful. Maybe your right, and if so military cutbacks will save a lot of money. But what if your wrong?
