You are missing the point entirely. A declining Hubbert curve does not mean there is resource depletion or that we have less energy.

In fact, you can easily have a declining Hubbert curve of Peak Oil, and actually have more net energy from less oil through efficiency gains.And that is happening.

The Hubbert Peak for substitutions is a long way off...if you aren't looking at that....then your Hubbert Oil Peak really means nothing in context.

Except for fear mongering of course.
