Strictly on the basis of having written fiction with imaginary characters with imaginary traits, I don't see this as a deal breaker on Webb. Of course, I haven't read his novels and don't plan to. I just don't see that it disqualifies him.

I'm not following that race and except as it affects the balance of power I don't care how it turns out.

Webb sounds like he represents democrats much better than he ever could represent Republicans. What a sick pervert. He was probably thinking about Gary Stubbs' great success representing democrats when he decided to run.
