This has to do with democrates as well. They had senate where they could have flibustered each and every bill if they wanted. They went along the King and his brown shirts and now they complain. Of course there are several neo-con turn coats like Joe Liberman who whatever democrates try to check the King he will jump ship under pretext of protecting again terror, saving Isreal and such snake oil sales. I also doubt why that article is now timed. When I read the sentence where he claims 911 cOmmision was real I know that this guy cannot be fully trusted to be a saviour of democracy. What will happen to this beautiful constitution will happen. It will decay, get diluted and eventually abandoned. These clowns are accelrating it. We can only regrete and feel pity. -Joe Joe > The Worst Congress Ever -- How our national legislature has become a stable of thieves and perverts Without attempting to deny anything he said, I felt his dissertation was actually an apology for the Democrats who are the ones I feel are responsible for the debacle in the Congress. I contend the Democrats have done nothing to challenge the Republicans and, in fact, have "brown nosed" themselves wherever possible and particularly by participating in the cover-up 9/11 Commission, by giving support to the various illegal wars, by encouraging the Bush dictatorship and by supporting the destruction of the Constitution. Indeed, had I been a US citizen and a voter in the forthcoming election I would have had a serious problem about whether to vote at all because I simply cannot believe that a Democrat-led government will be any better than the abortion which exists at present. Nevertheless, I found this piece by Leonard Peikoff, which also argues in favor of the Democrats, to be constructive. He contends, and I agree with him, that the actual choice is between militant religious fundamentalism and quasi-socialism and that socialism is by far the lesser of the two evils.
