Indeed it is..... Check your local school district. See what the total enrollment of students was 10 years ago, versus what it is now. It will probably be much less now, unless you are in some of the fast growing suburbs.... Then check the amount of money for the schools received 10 years ago, versus now. You will for sure find the money is a good deal more than before.

Most of us assume that the teachers will teach better, if they are paid more, so most often, willingly increase our taxes to make that happen.

We'd better see what is happening and start asking questions.

One of the first starts is to see what the curriculum is for American History, and exactly how many hours per grade is included per year. Next see how many hours the kids are ACTUALLY in school, and also see how many days/and hours teachers are paid..... You will begin to see the problem.
