be careful ... i suspect the market will bite the big one at some point between Nov 8th and December 21st, between engineered drubbing to blame democrat win and fiscal year end of funds, redemptions, etc

Hello Pezz, Tonight's Report:

(1) $#@!454e87_@#$! to the Canadian government that just committed a high crime, that of robbery, by delivering a knee-capping to my beloved royalty trusts - some machination that will substantially raised the tax cost to the entities, forcing cut of dividend flow and increase of financing cost

(2) Bought more

Cameco finance.yahoo.com at USD 34.06
Canadian Natural Resources finance.yahoo.com at USD 50.51

... these non-royalties got collateral damaged in a crushing way during the royalty trust fire fight.

I simply put this episode down to government greed and stupidity, and marking the copy book that more of such tax grabs will be likely as each society gets hit by increased need to rob the blind, steal from the sick, and hit out at the weak.

I suspect the royalty trust will partially recover from this episode of sudden but localized and selective re-pricing, but am not prepared to double up on them, as the officialdom clearly are scum.

Recommendation: accumulate physical gold (which THEY could well whack when THEY hit the commodity ETFs with some retroactive rule changes down the road).

Chugs, J

Hello Pezz, Remember I had astutely engaged with
Message 22942157
<<Impala PLATINUM finance.yahoo.com @ 43.70>>

... and now, we have what could be a very big ETF za.today.reuters.com "Platinum rallies on talk of new ETF" doing the nasty to a tiny little niche precious metal market (10 x as precious as gold)

... which means my Aflease/Southern Cross, physical holdings, and that <<the geewhizbang GRAND COMPLICATION PERPETUAL calendar platinum watch i hoarded in 2001 in effort to solidify what internet gains ... >> Message 22962040 are in even more demand than what the Chinese, Japanese, and Indians can muster ... now the Americans will get in on the game ... shock and awe.
