They get to dump on Kerry AND come out in support of the military, all at the same time :-) win win

Nice way to put it. Though, as I've said before, I think the only place anyone believed Kerry had even a reasonable shot at the nomination was in his own head.

This stuff is simply not Kerry's cup of tea. It's ugly but it's what we've got right now that passes for political debate.
