Lots of times when a stock is strong I buy at the .382 fib retrace. I'm not really that familiar with LMRA and I know you are since you've traded it several times. Regardless, if it's a stock you want, doesn't hurt to start a partial at the first fib for let's face it, none of us knows for sure how much it will retrace. Was reading a book the other day about averaging into a position and it said start with your smallest amount, then next partial get double of the first and do that increasing as you build your position.

Had something interesting happen to me today. Shorted in/out of AEOS, never realizing that earnings were in AHs. Just knew it was retail and I went short JCP too. Anyway, reshorted some at 45.05 thinking it probably was an awful entry. (My first shares were short at 46.10.) However, I wanted to get in and was prepared to average in. Well, at 4:00 went to do something else and for whatever reason came back to the computer and saw that AEOS had earnings and had dipped. In short, covered those shares at 43.85 and was thrilled with that 2 hour trade.:)
