Yes, I got that. I understood why you used the example.

The claim against Bush is probably so persistent because it's so true.

Now I put another question to you. Is it more important that Kerry be able to admit to a mistake he made in a speech or for our President to be able to do it with regard to his policies? I say the latter, because "staying the course" when you're headed straight for an iceberg is insane and dangerous.

I'm sorry Kerry put his foot in it again and gave the Right an excuse to suddenly concentrate so much energy on him. Kerry is really not an important issue in this campaign, while Bush, his failed policies, and his bull-headed insistence on ignoring reality are.

I'm sure Rove is delighted, since he really didn't seem to have come up with any real winning catch phrases this time around.
