I remember Faultline's moderation and I can tell you that crap like geode posted would never have been representative of this thread when he was around. And I might add Faultline was a pretty liberal guy himself.

You guys can rant on and on about this as much as you want, but unless you do a similar experiment elsewhere, you're like Bush talking about whatever the successor to "stay the course" is these days. I guess we're back on the "victory" PR campaign or something. Things are going really well in Iraq, I hear, and always have been since W got the war of his heart's desire. To even think of entertaining a contrary thought about the war president and his chosen war is, well, un-American.
