Rummy Question

I fail to see just exactly why Rumsfeld needs to step down. It has been well documented that if the commanders in the field thought they needed more troops, they would get them.

Also, it's highly suspect that the main carping is coming from retired generals (probably promoted by Clinton). I have much more confidence in the "players on the field" than the alumni in the stands playing armchair QB.

Had a talk about that at the coffee shop today. The left and the MSM wouldn't hate him if he was a Marvin Milktoast. He stands up for what he believes in. As I recall he shed his coat and ran INTO the Pentagon on 9/11 while most were running out.
